On October 14 COS was blessed to have our Burmese brothers and sisters sing a song during communion. The song commemorates Rev. Arthur E. Carson and his wife Laura Hardin, who brought the gospel to the Chin people in 1899. Not only was their singing lovely, but their traditional clothing was magnificent, too. The place fairly pulsated with color. If you listen closely to the end of the recording, you can hear one of our Sudanese members ululating her amen to the Burmese song. If that isn’t a little taste of heaven, I don’t know what is.
