This Sunday we mark the final Sunday of Jack’s official duties with Church of the Servant. Since its founding over 40 years ago, this church has provided a unique and important ministry to its participants and members, but also to the greater Christian Reformed Church. In Jack’s 33 years as pastor, he has promoted the gospel of Jesus through his leadership and preaching, deeply impacting this community for years to come. Please take time during this season of transition to consider the ways God has spoken to you through His servant Jack. Please also take time to share your appreciation with Jack and Carol for the ways their ministry has touched your life. We thank God for Jack and Carol’s gifts and the way they have been used in this place. We trust that God will continue to use them in a different capacity in the future.
