How should we respond as a congregation to the concerns of our undocumented immigrant neighbors?
We invite you to join in a discussion on the Sanctuary Movement on Wednesday, January 11 from 6:30-8 pm. We will be meeting in the COS worship space. To inform this discussion, we will hear an overview of the Sanctuary Movement from Kate Kooyman (CRC Office of Social Justice). Liz Balck Monsma (an immigration lawyer) will discuss legal questions and concerns. And Pastor Rodrigo (Communidad Christiana de Grand Rapids) will share stories about how deportations are impacting our community.
