Join us on October 1 at 9 am for our 1st Intergenerational Sunday School even of the new program year! October 1 is also Prism Sunday, so we will be worshipping together in a BES/SES combined service at 10 am in the large sanctuary. After the service, join us at Mackay Jaycees Park for a Church Picnic. COS will provide pork, chicken, paper products and water; we ask the congregation to provide side dishes such as salads, chips, veggies, fruit, and dessert. We’ll have soccer and baseball games too!
The church picnic will also be a time for us to express farewells and gratitude for Joann Beattie, our treasurer for the last five years. Joann, who concludes her work at COS on September 28, will be attending the picnic with her husband Bill.
