Sunday, August 20 – Council Office Bearers Installation during our combined service.

On Monday, July 17, we shared the sudden news that the Campbell family will be following a calling to return to their home in Northern Ireland and finish their service here at Church of the Servant over the coming weeks. If you missed the email with this announcement, you may find it here. Update: Sunday, August 20, will be Pastor Karen’s final Sunday with us at Church of the Servant. We will hold a combined service in the large worship space with Rev. Andrew Mead preaching. We will then gather following worship to express our gratitude and goodbyes to Pastor Karen. More details on this Sunday are forthcoming.

The COS Human Resources Team is looking for some additional members. The Team meets a few times a year to review policies, job descriptions, and review budgetary items which pertain to staff. If you are interested in participating on the HR Team, contact Corrie Vos, chair.

Church email notifications: our COS email list is used to send our Friday newsletter, the Sunday Zoom link, and other important announcements from council or the COS Executive Team. If you are not receiving these emails, and feel you should, please either sign up using this link. Occasionally, your email client may filter emails to a promotions tab, spam folder, or junk inbox by mistake. Including office@coscrc.org in your contact list can help prevent this from happening.

Block Party Thank You: It was good to be together again serving our neighbors Saturday, July 29 at the Camelot Block Party. Thank you for your time and financial support of this wonderful event. Over 150 children will go back to school with the necessary supplies. At the same time, we strengthened our ties with the community and each other.
