We share Christ’s love through word and deed with others living in our community.

Vacation Bible School 2020 – Info coming soon

COS, in cooperation with the other churches of Camelot Community Partners, sponsors VBS every summer for children entering first grade through those entering fifth grade. Typically, over 100 children attend – roughly 80% are from outside COS. They represent the other churches of CCP as well as many different cultural and linguistic groups. Details about the 2020 program will become available in the spring.

Ridge Park Mentors

COS adults meet weekly with one student at Ridge Park Charter Academy, a neighborhood elementary school, to assist with homework and build a relationship.

Food Pantry

Members and neighbors with emergency food needs make regular use of our food pantry’s non-perishable, frozen, and refrigerated foods.

Due to the stay at home order COS will be changing our Food Pantry protocol.

We will not have open pantry hours in Monday and Wednesday AMs.

Instead, access to food pantry will occur via appointment. Please call either Ellen at 901-5684 or Lori at 291-6132 to schedule an appointment.

They will be able to meet you at Door E of the church to assist with giving food, personal care items, and hand-crafted face masks.

Thank you!

Mobile Food Pantry

During the pandemic, the mobile food pantry will be held as a drive-thru distribution in the parking lot of Church of the Servant (3835 Burton SE) on the first Saturday of each month at 10 am.

Camelot Community Partners

We join with other members of our neighborhood to provide resources and activities for our community. Together with Immanuel Reformed, House of God Family Life Ministries, Ridge Park Charter Academy, and Camelot Woods Apartments, we seek to see vibrancy and growth in our increasingly diverse neighborhood. Check the news section of the COS website periodically or like our facebook page for Camelot Partners activities.
