Did You Know? GPS – God’s People Seeking – is Back!
Church of the Servant has a long tradition of offering rich, meaningful Adult Education opportunities, and GPS (God’s People Seeking) is a key part of that. Our Sunday morning Adult Ed Sunday School, known as GPS, invites you to participate in discussions that help us grow in community, deepen our understanding of God, and grapple with the complexities of faith.
1. What is GPS?
GPS sessions have three primary goals:
- Build community – Connect with fellow members and grow in fellowship.
- Expand our view of God – Gain new insights and perspectives through theological discussions, stories, and testimonies.
- Grapple with faith – Engage in meaningful conversations that explore how God is at work in our lives and the world around us.
Over the years, GPS has included a variety of engaging formats, such as personal testimonies, theological lectures, and open discussions. Whether you’re new to COS or a long-time member, GPS is a space to connect, learn, and grow.
2. When and Where?
GPS meets every Sunday at 11:45 a.m. in Room 5. If you prefer to join from home, you can watch the session live via Zoom—just use the same Zoom link as our worship service.
3. Who Decides the Topics?
We have a dedicated team that carefully selects each week’s speakers and topics, ensuring a diverse range of themes and perspectives. Information on topics and presenters will be added to the GPS page on the COS website. Check back often as the schedule is confirmed.
