Pastoral Search – In our learning session this Sunday, March 12, during the 11am education hour in room 5, we will focus on what it means to “call” a pastor.

Each of us receives a calling (a vocation) in our baptism. Each of us has the opportunity to discern how we live out that call in leisure and work, in the groups and families we are a part of, and in the choices we make about participation in church life. Everyone who becomes a pastor has many opportunities to describe their experience of “being called”–including search processes. How can we be prepared to hear those stories? How could our process of extending a call to a pastor help each of us discern how God may be calling us to serve?
