Theo & Beth Beels
Theo and Beth Beels are doing medical work at Tansen Hospital in Tansen, Nepal. They left the United States in February 2010 for a three-year mission commitment.

Theo is practicing internal medicine, teaching medical residents, and covering the hospital and the ER while on call. Beth is involved in the nursing school. |

| History: | Beth and Theo went to Nepal independently in 1977, met, and got married. Since then Nepal has always been an important part of their lives. They have formed strong relationships with Nepalis in Grand Rapids and have returned to Nepal several times for short-term service. They always wished to return to Nepal for a longer term; when they became empty-nesters, they felt a strong call to return to Nepal while still young enough to practice good medicine, teach, and be involved in ministry. |
