Team 78…

The mission of our youth programs is to provide a community which encourages growth in our Christian faith. These ministries focus on Scripture, prayer, worship, service, and fellowship. Youth are encouraged to be involved in the church as a body as well as the community in which we live. Service activities as well as fun events are planned specifically for youth and are intended to include all who wish to participate. Financial assistance for any activity is available upon speaking with Judy Ko, the Minister to Youth.

Team 78

Team 78 meets every other Sunday night. This 07-08 school year we’re looking at what it means to be a Christian and how to live out our faith through service projects, personal devotions, giving to others, and serving our own church. Feel free to join us! To find out the next meeting date, feel free to call Judy Ko at 616-956-7611 ext. 24. Come on out from 6pm-8pm for snacks, games, lesson activities, and fun!

Small Groups

Boys and Girls Small Groups meet the first 3 Wednesday nights of each month. After a church-wide dinner from 6pm-7pm, small groups meet from 7pm-8pm. Boys meet in the youth room, girls meet in the glass room off the Worship Space. Join us for a time of great conversation!

Church School

The year during the education hour from 10am-10:45am on Sunday mornings, we are following the FaithWeaver curriculum, looking at different Bible stories and how they apply to our lives. What’s cool is that younger kids and even adults are going through the same Bible stories! This gives families a great chance to talk about what they’ve learned each week.

Other Goings On

Each month a service project and a fun thing will be offered such as helping out at a local ministry, raking leaves, going bowling, having pizza, going sledding, and oh, so much more.

Let’s Have Coffee: Students can sign up to meet with Judy for coffee (or hot chocolate or smoothie or whatever). Just call her for a meeting date and time!
